Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Orva platform operated by GE Labs, LLC (“we”, “us”, “Orva”). By using Orva, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

Orva is an AI-powered platform that generates software applications based on natural language conversations. You describe what you want to build, and Orva produces blueprints, wireframes, and working source code.

2. Accounts

You must create an account to use Orva. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information and keep it updated. One person or entity per account.

3. Pricing & Payment

  • Orva uses flat per-project pricing. You pay once per project build.
  • The discovery chat is always free. Payment is required before code generation begins.
  • Prices are displayed in USD with local currency equivalents (PHP, SGD, etc.).
  • Payments are processed by Stripe and PayMongo. All sales are final once code generation has started.
  • Add-ons (revision packs, extra screens, hosting, custom domains) are priced separately.

4. Refund Policy

  • Before build starts: Full refund available.
  • After build starts: No refund, as AI compute costs are incurred immediately.
  • Build failure: If Orva fails to generate a working application, you may request a rebuild or a full refund.
  • Hosting and domain subscriptions can be cancelled anytime. No refund for partial months.

5. Source Code Ownership

You own all source code generated by Orva for your projects. We grant you a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide license to use, modify, and distribute the generated code. Orva does not retain ownership of your generated applications.

Source code download is included in every plan at no extra cost. There is no lock-in.

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you provide to Orva (project descriptions, images, business information). You grant us a limited license to process this content for the purpose of providing the service.

7. BYOD (Bring Your Own Database)

  • You may connect your own Supabase project. You are responsible for the security and maintenance of your own database.
  • Orva stores only your project’s public URL and anon key (encrypted). We never request or store service_role keys.
  • You can disconnect at any time.
  • Orva is not liable for data loss, corruption, or security breaches in your own Supabase project.

8. Custom Domains

  • Custom domains are a $15/month add-on, available after your app is built.
  • You must own the domain and have access to DNS settings.
  • SSL certificates are provisioned automatically via Vercel.
  • Cancelling removes the domain and cancels the subscription. No partial refunds.

9. Hosting

  • Orva-managed hosting is $25/month per project.
  • A free subdomain (yourapp.orva.build) is always included.
  • We use Supabase and Vercel for hosting infrastructure. Uptime is subject to their service availability.
  • We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party infrastructure providers.

10. Acceptable Use

You may not use Orva to:

  • Generate illegal, harmful, or malicious software
  • Build applications that violate third-party rights
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or abuse the AI systems
  • Resell or white-label the Orva platform itself (generated apps are fine)
  • Overwhelm the system with automated or excessive requests

11. AI-Generated Content

Orva uses AI models to generate blueprints, wireframes, and code. While we strive for quality:

  • AI-generated code is provided “as is”. You should review and test it before production use.
  • We do not guarantee that generated code is free of bugs, security vulnerabilities, or errors.
  • You are responsible for reviewing, testing, and deploying generated applications.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Orva and GE Labs, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to Orva in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We will notify users of planned downtime when possible.

14. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days, except as required by law.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email. Continued use of Orva after changes constitutes acceptance.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where GE Labs, LLC is registered. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
